Technical Claims Lead, Global (Re)Insurer London

I'm currently working with a global (re)insurer on the appointment of a Technical Claims Lead for their team in London. As part of our client's UK claims leadership team, this role will sit across three core pillars and will handle a small case load of cross class major loss claims, as well as supporting the wider business and advising EMEA claims teams on complex claims strategy.

Due to the nature of the claims, the Technical Claims Lead will have a strong bias towards US Financial Lines, which will include D&O, Construction PI, Transactional Liability, Large Lawyers etc. Other classes under the remit of this role will include worldwide Property & Engineering, and Aviation.

The role would suit individuals who have operated in a technical lead capacity previously, those that have handled complex/major losses that are looking to step up into a technical lead role, or those who are in management positions that are looking to move back into a technical role. It is essential you come with extensive US and EMEA Claims exposure, previous experience handling large and complex losses, as well as strong skills in coverage analysis, investigation, and valuation.

This is a role that doesn't come to market often and is available due to internal promotion.
