The role offers a rate of £18.01/hr PAYE (Inside IR35). What You Will Do:

• Perform detailed quote analysis, covering both Piece Cost & Vendor Tooling, with a keen eye on commercial factors such as overheads, plant layout, and global economics.
• Manage Tier 1 supplier relationships through regular meetings, ensuring transparent and optimised quotations.
• Deliver fast-paced reporting to Senior Management, including gap analysis and budget comparisons.
• Support the wider team by providing 'Engineering estimates' for component piece cost and vendor tooling.
• Maintain and enhance cost databases, alongside involvement in the Sourcing phase, including RFQ creation.
• Generate innovative cost reduction ideas and contribute to cross-functional business activities.

What You Will Bring:

• A solid design/engineering qualification with a deep understanding of global Automotive supply chains and the cost driving factors within.
• Expertise in Interior commodities and technologies, alongside experience managing costs with a Tier 1 supplier.
• Strong CAD interrogation skills, complemented by excellent time management and an eye for detail.
• An organised, methodical, and data-driven mindset, with a proactive approach to supplier management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & PowerPoint, and a team player attitude.
