Technical Sales Advisor - Assure Personnel : Job Details

Assure Personnel are supporting a successul Construction Equipment Supplier based outside of Ipswich, to recruit a Technical Sales Advisor to join their Sales Team.

Role:

• You will be responsible for handling technical sales enquiries including specifying products, providing quotes, maximising sales and providing a high level of customer service.
• Upselling and recommending product alternatives to increase sales and customer satisfaction.
• Handling transactions, processing payments, and complying with company credit control procedures.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in parts sales or a similar environment (construction, automotive, or plant sectors).
• You may have come from an engineering background and now looking to take this knowledge into an office environment (desirable not essential).
• You will have good technical skills or be a practical thinker with a strong sales focus, possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be self-motivated and well organised.
• Customer-focused with strong communication skills.
• Organised and proactive, able to handle a variety of tasks in a fast-paced setting.

What is on offer:

• Basic salary from £28k-£30k + £10k commission (No thresholds)
• 20 days holiday + 8 bank holidays
• Monday to Friday - 7:30am to 16:30 OR 9am to 17:30 (1 hour lunch break)
