Are you a dynamic and driven sales professional with a passion for business development? Elevation Recruitment is excited to be recruiting a Technical Sales Manager to join our Client’s team and lead efforts in identifying and securing new business opportunities. As a Technical Sales Manager you'll have the freedom to pursue projects of varying sizes, with no ceiling on potential opportunities, and you'll receive the support needed to excel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business development with a first-year target of £600k.
- Retain and expand contracts, ensuring long-term customer satisfaction.
- Own the customer forecast, meeting annual sales and order targets.
- Manage the bidding process for contracts, including system designs and quotes.
- Develop compelling presentations to support customer meetings and initiatives.
- Stay ahead of competitor activity, ensuring our business maintains a competitive edge.
- Track product changes and market trends to ensure we offer the best products and services.
- Ensure our products and services meet and exceed customer and market expectations.
What We're Looking For:
- A background in engineering, security or technical support is a must
- Minimum of 3 years of successful sales experience, with a strong ability to manage customer and business relationships.
- Proficiency in business development practices and a solid understanding of market dynamics.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present confidently at all levels.
- Experience in bidding for contracts, including system design and quoting.
- Experience in the security industry is a plus, but not a requirement for the right candidate.
- Full UK driving licence
