Our client, a leading global technology company, is looking for a talented and proactive 2nd Line Support Engineer to join their dynamic team. If you're passionate about troubleshooting, providing technical support, and ensuring seamless IT operations, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert 2nd line technical support for internal and external customers, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and effectively. Some site visits required so my possess a driving licence.
  • Troubleshoot complex hardware, software, and network issues, escalating unresolved issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Maintain and support IT systems and infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Collaborate with 1st line support teams to ensure smooth incident resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Document issues, solutions, and ongoing technical knowledge for future reference and training purposes.
  • Assist in the implementation of system upgrades and maintenance activities.
  • Monitor and maintain system performance, ensuring minimal downtime.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in 2nd line support, ideally within a technical or IT-focused environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage a variety of technical issues.
  • Proficiency with Windows operating systems, networking concepts, and IT infrastructure.
  • Experience with ticketing systems, remote desktop support tools, and diagnostic software.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.
  • ITIL knowledge and certification (preferred).
