Technical Surveyor (Repairs & Voids) Temp to Perm Opportunity via BRC Jobs:               Technical Surveyor - Repairs & Voids   Location:        Devon and Cornwall (Agile Working) Sector:            Housing & Property   Duration:       Temp to Permanent (Salary £40,236) Hourly rate:   £24.21 PAYE or £27.16 Umbrella  Start Date:      ASAP    BRC are working with a reputable Housing Association in Devon to recruit a contract Technical Surveyor who will be managing Repairs & Voids. Our client is looking for an experienced professional to identify, inspect, and provide solutions to problems and defects with their stock in South Devon. This role is initially temporary with a chance to go permanent  Main Responsibilities:

This role will provide a professional surveying service for the purpose of improving, maintaining and repairing the properties and neighbourhoods and manage, to a high standard

This role will have a focus mainly on repairs, voids and diagnosing disrepair cases, carrying out repair inspections and void inspections

Prepare detailed, schedules of work, programmes, specifications and tender documentation and advertisements as necessary

Project management and oversight of contract works relating to programmed maintenance and improvements

Undertake contract administration including works inspections, ensuring compliance with all appropriate legislative standards, including CDM co-ordinator or Client responsibilities in compliance with Westwards own service standards and budgetary control

Provide excellent customer service, manging any complaints or queries

Ensure that the property services databases are correctly maintained

The role will be agile working, based from home and managing a patch within Devon

  Job Requirements:

HND / HNC level in construction or building qualification

Good understanding and knowledge of utilising IT software including Microsoft Office

A driver with access to own vehicle
