Temporary Finance Assistant - Grafton Banks Limited : Job Details

Grafton Banks Finance is excited to support a growing business in Worthing, seeking a Finance Assistant for an ongoing temporary role. Reporting to the Financial Controller, this position will involve a range of tasks across purchase ledger, sales ledger, and month-end close processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process high-volume invoices in a timely manner
• Allocate payments accurately
• Raise invoices
• Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Process expenses
• Raise purchase order (PO) numbers
• Assist with ad-hoc projects, such as clearing backlogs in the purchase ledger

What We’re Looking For:

• Availability to start in early January with immediate notice
• Previous experience in an Accounts/Finance Assistant role (or similar)
• Confident Excel user, proficient in Pivot Tables, SUMIFs, and other functions
• Ability to commute to Worthing on a daily basis
