Temporary Travel Manager We are looking for an experienced Travel Coordinator Or Operations Manager ideally from a TMC background to oversee the planning and booking of travel arrangements for our prestigious global client. This is a 3-6 month contract initially but there is scope for this role to develop in to a permanent position. Paying between £200-250 per day DOE and will need to start ASAP.
Temporary Travel Manager Responsibilities:
- Lead a team of Travel Booking Associates across 4 global locations.
- Track and allocate team resources to meet customer demand.
- Book flights, hotels, and ground transportation.
- Define and agree on travel requirements with internal customers.
- Ensure travel bookings follow standard processes and systems.
- Monitor team performance against SLAs and KPIs.
- Manage financial operations, including budgets and reports.
- Coordinate suppliers and internal services to meet quality, delivery, and cost goals.
- Develop delivery strategies based on business requirements.
Temporary Travel Manager Experience:
- 3-5 years managing a travel booking team, ideally across multiple countries.
- 1-2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Experience with GDS (Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo) and travel itinerary systems (e.g., Concur).
Skills and Abilities:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage conflicting priorities and work under pressure.
- Attention to detail and financial cost management.
Additional Info:
- Paying £200-250 per day DOE
- Working on a hybrid basis, 2 days in their Central London Office and 3 days WFH
- This is a 3-6 month contract with a view to go permanent for the right person
- Need to be able to start ASAP
