Tendering Engineer 11kv - Matchtech : Job Details

Our client, a prominent player in the power utilities and energy sector, is seeking an experienced Tendering Engineer 11kv to join their team. This permanent role focuses on ICP connections work for renewable energy, industrial, and commercial developments. The ideal candidate will contribute to a variety of projects within the T & D, power distribution, and energy sectors.

• Preparing and managing tenders for ICP 11kv connections in renewable energy projects
• Reviewing and analysing tender documents to ensure compliance with technical specifications
• Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to gather necessary information for tenders
• Conducting site inspections and feasibility studies as part of the tendering process
• Providing technical and commercial input for project proposals
• Liaising with project managers to ensure seamless transition from tendering to project execution
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements
• Ensuring timely submission of tenders in line with project deadlines

• Experience in tendering for BESS, solar, substation, HV, and 11kv projects
• Strong understanding of ICP connections work within the renewable energy and industrial sectors
• Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and specifications
• Knowledge of relevant industry standards and regulations
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant engineering degree or equivalent qualification
