Elevation Recruitment is excited to be working with our established manufacturing client within the pet sector to recruit a territory manager to join their sales team. As a Territory Manager, you will manage and develop sales opportunities and key customer accounts within East Anglia to meet company targets related to sales growth and profitability through sales meetings and trade shows.
Territory Manager Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales and distribution targets
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers, serving as their key point of contact
- Manage and develop nominated key accounts, ensuring the highest levels of professionalism and customer care
- Develop and maintain an effective journey plan to maximize territory coverage and business opportunities
- Use promotional materials and point-of-sale resources effectively
- Identify, address and manage customer needs, both proactively and reactively
- Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and events, including following up on leads and queries
- Contribute to operational improvements by sharing ideas and solutions
- Manage local budgets within the provided framework
- Stay informed about developments in the pet care industry, including products and merchandising techniques
Territory Manager Skills and Experience:
- Experience within the pet food or pet care industry is advantageous
- Strong sales acumen with a proven ability to meet and exceed targets
- Successful experience within a field based role
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Organisational and time-management abilities to handle multiple priorities effectively
- Proficiency in CRM systems and reporting tools
