Territory Sales Manager
Location: Southern UK Territory
Offering £30,000 - £35,000 Basic Salary OTE £50,000 - £70,000+ plus Benefits.
Our client is a global supplier of products to the retail convenience sector. They have enjoyed significant growth and are currently recruiting a Territory Sales Manager to join their business.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and growing our clients portfolio of convenience store customers throughout the South of England. The role involves splitting time between nurturing existing accounts and identifying new business opportunities. The Territory Sales Manager will work directly with store owners as well as collaborate with regional managers who oversee multiple store locations.
Territory Sales Manager -Responsibilities:
- Manage an existing portfolio of convenience store accounts, ensuring client satisfaction and retention.
- Develop new accounts by identifying opportunities for business growth in the convenience store sector.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with both store managers and regional managers.
- Drive sales by providing excellent customer service and addressing customer needs.
- Meet and exceed sales targets through a combination of account management and new business development.
- Conduct regular face-to-face visits with store owners to assess their needs and offer tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with regional managers to provide seamless account management for their network of stores.
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and promotional activities.
- Maintain up-to-date records of customer interactions and sales progress using CRM systems.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to ensure our offerings stay competitive.
Territory Sales Manager - Requirements:
- Proven experience in field sales, account management, or business development, ideally within the retail or convenience store sector.
- Strong ability to manage and grow existing client accounts while driving new business.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with regional managers or multi-site account oversight is highly desirable.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM systems to manage customer data and track sales performance.
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
- A results-driven attitude with a passion for achieving and exceeding sales targets.
The Territory Sales Manager position is offering £30,000 - £35,000 basic salary OTE £50,000 - £70,000+ plus benefits. This is a full-time, permanent position based remotely, with travel across the South of England region, visiting and developing all your clients as well driving new sites into your portfolio.
