TEST LEAD - TECH FOR GOOD- SOUTH MANCHESTER - UP TO £60K

The UK’s leading Medical Research organisation are going through a huge digital transformation, and are looking for a skilled Test Lead to join their growing software and QA team.

They’ve recently massive government investment and have recently partnered with Silicon Valley giants to research how AI can support medical research. There’s also ample opportunity to make a huge impact on the business. As a Test Lead in this new team, you'll be responsible for the implementation of tools and process, supporting huge platform upgrades and much more.

What are they looking for in you as their Test Lead?

• Proven experience as a senior or lead in a software testing function. You’ll be working closely with the Head of Engineering and wider stakeholders across the business team leading the evolution of their QA function.
• Implementing test strategy, structure and best practices to the team. You’ll be helping to define greenfield QA processes for existing legacy systems and upcoming greenfield projects.
• Strong knowledge of manual testing and test automation. You don’t need to be an Automation Tester, but do need to have appreciation and knowledge of the tools and how to implement it (as the business is going through a large transformation, you’ll be part of deciding what the best technology and tools to use are)
