Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject
• Good experience in a software testing role
• Good experience working in a customer-facing role
• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, and processes
• Experience with usability, performance and/or security testing
• Able to write clear, concise and comprehensive test plans/cases/reports
• Good organisation skills and time management
• Proven ability to manage, teach and motivate others
• Good communication skills, able to convey technical information clearly
• ISEB/ISTQB testing qualification is desirable

Job role and responsibilities:

As a Test Manager you will work in a customer facing role with internal project engineering and management teams to clarify testing requirements. Youb will coordinate test execution, develop customer-facing test plans and reports, resolve testing issues, and maintain test plans. You will also track outputs, report defects to project teams, ensure test traceability to user requirements, and manage test engineer workloads. Other responsibilities for this role include:

• Develop and maintain detailed test plans and cases
• Estimate, prioritize, and manage testing activities
• Collaborate with internal teams on release schedules
• Identify, document, and track bugs; conduct regression testing post-fix
• Perform usability and locale-based testing in pre-production environments
• Execute manual testing and investigate software issues
• Keep test results updated and create training materials to prevent recurring defects
• Stay informed on new testing tools and strategies; enhance processes and systems
• Lead, mentor, and motivate the test engineering team
• Support team development and promote a culture of recognition and growth
