Hospital/Theatre Porter

We have a fantastic opportunity for a driven and self-motivated Porter to join our team at Rowley Hall Hospital. Rowley Hall has a 13 bedded inpatient ward and a 10 pod day surgery unit, 2 Operating Theatres, busy Outpatient and Radiology Departments .

Summary:

Rowley Hall Hospital is one of Staffordshires leading private hospitals with an excellent reputation for delivering high quality private hospital treatment. Located in a Georgian listed building in five acres of Rowley Park, only five minutes from the centre of Stafford

The hospital's range of treatments and services include, orthopaedic surgery, spine surgery, general surgery, cosmetic surgery, gynaecology services, urology surgery, radiology services and physiotherapy.

The role:

You will be an integral part of a team who are committed to delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes in a supported environment, where you will be valued for your skills and expertise.With a strong focus on customer service our team of Porters provide a vital service in our hospital. Although escorting patients in a safe and friendly manner is a key function of the role you will also be required to provide general porter services to all hospital departments. This can include driving between hospital locations to collect or deliver equipment.

What you’ll bring with you:

  • Ability to work under your own initiative or as part of a small team
  • Work within a challenging environment

  • A flexible and positive attitude
  • Have good communication skills
  • Excellent customer service experience
  • Full UK Drivers Licence holder
  • Over 25 years age for vehicle insurance purposes
