TSR Legal are pleased to be working with a well-established conveyancing law firm based in Swansea, dedicated to providing exceptional legal services in property transactions. Who are currently seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Title Checker to join their dynamic and growing team.
Responsibilities:
Title Examination: - Conduct thorough examinations of property titles to identify any issues or discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations related to property titles.
Document Review: - Review and analyze legal documents, including deeds, mortgages, and contracts.
- Verify the accuracy of information and resolve any discrepancies.
Communication: - Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, and external agencies to gather necessary information and resolve title-related issues.
Research: - Conduct research on property records, land surveys, and zoning information.
- Stay updated on changes in property laws and regulations.
Quality Assurance: - Implement quality control measures to maintain accuracy and precision in title examinations.
- Provide recommendations for resolving title-related challenges.
Qualifications:
Legal Background: - Bachelor's degree in Law or related field.
- Previous experience in conveyancing or property law is highly desirable.
Attention to Detail: - Exceptional attention to detail and the ability to spot inaccuracies in legal documents.
Analytical Skills: - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to interpret complex legal documents and resolve title issues.
Communication Skills: - Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and clients.
Technology Proficiency: - Familiarity with relevant software and databases for title searches and legal research.
