Jewson, a leading building materials distributor in Northern Europe, is on the hunt for a Tool Hire Supervisor to join the team in our Northampton branch who's as passionate about great service as we are.

Hours: 7.30am-5pm Monday to Friday and every other Saturday morning 8-12
Location: Jewson, 31-33 St James' Mill Rd, Northampton NN5 5JW
Key Responsibilities
This role will find you as the key point of contact for Tool Hire within this branch - supervising the team while driving the overall profitability of the department by developing great relationships with customers.
Supervising the Tool Hire department in branch, overseeing all operational tasks as well as managing health and safety for you and your team
Ensure that great relationships are developed with our customers, via phone, email and in person, and get to know our products and equipment to better assist customers
Generating business with new and existing customers, managing KPI targets for your department
Collaborate with the wider branch network to support customer requirements and business activities
Be available to perform deliveries and collections of equipment for our customers, using a 3.5t vehicle
Be available to perform any maintenance of the equipment we hire out (training will be provided)
Get to know the local market to support plans for sales growth
Work with colleagues to suggest opportunities for improvement

Required Skills and Experience
Previous industry experience would be beneficial
Strong sales experience, dealing with internal and external customers
Leadership experience would also be beneficial to the role
Full clean UK driving licence (manual transmission)
