Town Planner - Bristol

Salary: £30,000 - £35,000, depending on experience.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Town Planner to join a reputable urban planning consultancy based in Bristol. The company is seeking a skilled and driven individual to contribute to a diverse range of urban development projects. The role offers the flexibility to work from either the Bristol or Cardiff office, depending on preference.

Key Responsibilities:- Lead the preparation and submission of planning applications- Provide expert planning advice on a variety of urban development projects- Conduct research and assess local planning policies and regulations- Collaborate with senior planners, clients, and external stakeholders- Manage planning projects through all stages of development

Key Requirements:- RTPI-accredited degree in Town Planning or related field- Professional experience in private consultancy- Must have started the APC and be actively pursuing chartership- In-depth knowledge of planning law and policy- Excellent communication and report-writing skills- A proactive approach with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
