Reed Banking are currently seeking a highly skilled Trade Finance Supervisor to work for our prestigious banking client.  This pivotal role offers the chance to lead and innovate within the Trade Finance team, delivering bespoke financial solutions across a diverse range of products including commodity finance, letters of credit, and structured trade financing.

As a Trade Finance Supervisor, you will:

* Manage and Execute Trade Finance Products: Oversee the lifecycle of various trade finance instruments such as LCs, LGs, and forfeiting transactions, ensuring they meet client needs effectively.

* Enhance Client Relationships: Build and maintain robust relationships with financial institutions, corporate clients, and commodity traders, enhancing client satisfaction and retention.

* Drive Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all operations adhere to UK and international regulatory standards, managing risks and maintaining the integrity of our financial services.

* Champion Operational Excellence: Lead initiatives to optimize trade finance operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with business goals.

* Stay Ahead of Market Trends: Keep abreast of global trade finance trends and regulatory changes to advise and lead the bank strategically.

• Experienced: At least 5 years in trade finance with a focus on commodity finance and structured solutions.
• Knowledgeable: Deep understanding of trade finance products, regulations, and risk management.
• Skilled Communicator: Exceptional relationship management and communication skills.
• Educated: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field; Master’s degree or professional qualifications like CDCS or CITF preferred.
