In this role you will be responsible for performing a marketing analyst role, implementing and communicating trade policy & objectives through day-to-day activities for Europe/ Med and also coordinate and manage Europe export data analysis and cargo pricing in line with trade policy & objectives.
The Role
- To perform regular structural review of regions / AC performance against target goal levels & follow-up on any performance deviations providing insight analysis of cargo patterns and analysis of forecasts.
- Creation and management of dashboards for various KPI’s, analysis of data and summarising actions to be taken.
- To work with regions / MKTG teams and monitor any deviations in performance, also providing guidance and directions based on cargo pattern analysis to maximise overall trade profitability.
- Review of route costs, creation, and maintenance of Arbitrary cost lists. Management of opening / closing routes.
- Creation and maintenance of Minimum guide rates in line with market changes across various platforms.
- Coordinate cargo portfolio strategy analysis with a view to maximising revenue return
- Prepare daily / weekly cargo trend analysis/booking monitoring reports which facilitate the process management & optimisation of vessel allocations and trade profitability.
- Support the European Space management/Pricing team daily activities with clear guidance and cargo trend analysis.
- Manage optimal cargo routing tables for Europe / MED - Asia trade, Setting and maintenance of route priority, cross referencing against internal way port allocations. Identifying under utilised routes and promotion to respective pricing personnel.
- To be fully proficient with all Trade Management inhouse System Modules and perform timely and accurate review & maintenance of the same when & where required, including but not limited to new system enhancements.
- Take on ad hoc projects as directed by the Marketing Manager.
- Show proficiency in dealing with new system enhancements and data analysis to support daily pricing and space management decisions.
- Support respective Trade Pricing Teams and Trade policies.

The Requirements
- Knowledge of data studio, power pivot would be preferable
- Good knowledge of Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
- Knowledge of system programming is desirable.
- Experience of working to tight deadlines
- Previous pricing / market liner shipping experience is desirable but not essential.
