We’re seeking an experienced Field Sales Manager to join our Trade division.
Arena, Eclipse, and Stevens are part of the Hunter Douglas UK Trade Division, and leading brands in the window coverings industry, offering a diverse range of high-quality products. We are dedicated to providing exceptional service to our trade customers, which include high street blind and curtain retailers, wholesalers, and e-commerce businesses. To continue our growth, we are looking for an experienced Trade Sales Manager to join our dynamic team, covering the East Midlands and South Yorkshire.As a Trade Sales Manager, you will be the driving force behind building and optimizing trade relationships with local window covering companies across the area. This is a field-based role, with 4 days spent on the road visiting customers and 1 day dedicated to administrative tasks. You will manage an existing customer base of approximately 250 trade clients under our trade division, with a strong focus on growing this base through proactive sales efforts and maintaining excellent customer relationships.
Trade Sales Manager - Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with an existing portfolio of 250 trade customers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Business Development: Proactively seek out and engage with potential new trade customers, working to open new accounts and reactivate dormant ones. Leverage your networking skills to identify and capitalize on growth opportunities.
- Sales Growth: Promote and resell new product books, strategically targeting customers to maximize sales and market share within the Midlands area.
- Industry Engagement: Attend industry events, including the British Blind and Shutter Association (BBSA) events, to raise awareness of our trade brands, engage with existing customers, and forge new relationships.
- Market Analysis: Monitor and analyze market trends and competitor activity to ensure our brands remain competitive and relevant in the marketplace.
- Reporting and Administration: Spend 1 day per week on administrative tasks, including sales reporting, account management, and strategic planning.

- Licensed to Drive: You hold a valid UK driving license and are willing to travel extensively across East Midlands and South Yorkshire area. Some overnight stays may be required.
