Role Summary:

The Trading Software Engineer will focus on developing high-performance, low-latency solutions for a next-generation trading platform. Working closely with trading teams and collaborating with other developers, they will convert business requirements into scalable, high-performance solutions. Their contributions will drive the creation of new tools and features, enhancing business performance and operational efficiency, and directly impacting the company’s P&L.

The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of the financial industry, with front office exposure. They will primarily develop in Go, with integration services written in Python, deployed on AWS.

Happy for candidate to learn Golang on the job, as long as have strong expertise in any object-oriented language (C++, Java etc.)

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and implement advanced trading platform components in Go and Python.
  • Collaborate with trading and business teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Prototype, create, and deploy innovative tools and features to enhance trading capabilities.
  • Maintain and improve existing codebases, ensuring robustness, scalability, and performance.
  • Optimize platform performance through efficient coding and proactive resource management.
  • Implement comprehensive monitoring solutions to identify and resolve unexpected system behavior or failures.
  • Produce clean, maintainable, and well-documented code that adheres to industry best practices.
  • Support the continuous improvement of the development process and technical infrastructure.
  • Perform other related duties as required in a fast-paced environment.
