Trainee Accountant - Ashby Finance : Job Details

Our client, a Chartered Accountancy Practice based in Shere, Surrey has a new role for a Trainee Accountant to join their Team. Reporting to the Practice Manager, duties will include: -

• Assisting with statutory accounts production, from client records to draft statutory accounts
• Corporation tax computation, understanding and interpretation
• Completion of or support of independent examinations
• Support of audit services
• Understanding of bookkeeping, VAT and management accounting both practically and in order to interpret
• Ensure compliance with all financial regulations
• Carry out continuous reviews of working accounting practices and processes to ensure efficient and cost effective operations
• Adhoc duties

To be considered for this role it is essential that candidates have at least 1 years’ accountancy experience within Industry or Practice. Full training will be given, but a working knowledge of accounts is essential. Due to the location, candidates must have access to their own vehicle.
