Trainee Accountant - IPS Group : Job Details

Exciting opportunity for a Trainee Accountant to join a growing firm based in Keighley.

This 2-site, independent firm offer a variety of services to their wide range of clients, from audit, accounts, tax, bookkeeping, and payroll.

You will have the opportunity to work with a range of clients and colleagues to ensure you have well-rounded work experience which will complement your professional studies.

As a Trainee Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Preparation of statutory year end accounts for sole traders, limited companies, and partnerships.
• Calculating corporate tax and personal tax liabilities.
• Preparation of VAT returns.
• Perform bookkeeping duties when required.

To successfully apply for this Trainee Accountant role, ideally you will:

• Be studying towards AAT level 3 or 4.
• Have 1+ years' Practice experience in a Trainee Accountant position.
• Be eager to learn and progress with the firm, both professionally and through your studies.
