Job Description :
Societe Generale International Limited (SGIL) is the Group's primary booking hub for listed execution, clearing and financing activities within Global Markets and is a fully owned subsidiary of Societe Generale. SGIL primarily supports the Prime Services & Clearing department which is situated within the Equity & Equity Derivatives division. SG Prime Services is a global, multi-asset, multi-instrument offering, providing prime brokerage services on a single sophisticated and transparent platform catering to all client segments. The SGIL CEO office manages numerous branches of the business and is ultimately responsible for the performance of the whole SGIL entity (including all Service Units, like Operations, RISQ, DFIN, Compliance, Legal, etc..). The Trainee role will consist of assisting the CEO office Manager with the day to day running of the Chief Executive Office, including;
  • Helping to structure and run the governance of the entity including SGIL committees management
  • Coordinating initiatives to help business and strategic planning
  • Organising and coordinating transversal and cross functions topics, including projects
  • Resolving ad hoc issues in a prompt and timely manner
  • Assuming responsibility for timely reporting to senior colleagues
  • Assisting with ad hoc tasks where required
Profile required• The ideal candidate should have a good basic understanding of Investment Banking environments and their different business functions. Understanding of Prime Services is advantageous • Proficiency in MS Office suite and databases • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Good decision-making and problem-solving capabilities • Excellent organisational skills • Ability to be flexible and adaptable • Strong analytical skills • A good team player who proactively shares information and collaborates with others • Ability to be able to work independently and multi-task in a busy corporate environment • Excellent written and verbal English skills Why join usPeople join for the impact they can have on us.
