Job Title: Trainee Dental Nurse

Location: Watford

Salary: Staring £13 Hourly rate

Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.

Operating Hours: Monday and Wednesday 8.45 - 7pm, Tuesday and Thursday 8.45am - 5.45pm and Friday 8.45 - 4.30pm.

Role Overview:We are seeking a Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dedicated team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to start or further their career in dental nursing within a well-established and progressive practice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentists and specialists in providing high-quality care across a range of procedures.
  • Prepare patients, materials, and equipment with care and precision.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe clinical environment.
  • Adhere to strict infection control protocols and health and safety regulations.
  • Support the smooth running of the surgery, including occasional receptionist and treatment coordinator duties.
  • Engage in ongoing training and professional development, keeping up to date with Continuing Professional Development (CPD).

Skills and Qualifications:

  • A genuine interest in dental nursing and patient care.
  • Willingness to learn and develop new skills.
  • Proof of Vaccination (First dose of Hep B)
  • Provide proof of letter of enrolment for an approved dental nursing course
  • Ability to stay calm and confident in challenging situations.
  • Right to work in the UK.
