Trainee Machine Setter - Gi Group : Job Details

At Gi Group we are recruiting for Trainee Machine Setter to work with our client based in Cheltenham (GL51). Temporary to Permanent position with potential for progression.* Location - Cheltenham - GL51* Pay rate - £12.20 per hour paid weekly, increasing once fully trained* Monday - Thursday: 8am - 5pm* Friday: EARLY FINISH: 8am - 1pmMain Responsibilities/Challenges * Learning to set and operate equipment and machinery, perform tool changes and adjustments across the Cheltenham site.* Full training given to assist and support skilled machine setters in day-to-day production.* Quality conscious * Work Safety and effectively* Working on your own initiativeBackground and Personal Qualities:* This position would suit someone from a mechanical background, with opportunity to progress within a manufacturing business;* Any previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment would be advantageous (not essential)If you wish to apply or if you require further information, please contact Gi Group on .
