Trainee Quantity Surveyor

We are on the look out for a candidate to join our busy and growing client in Uxbridge. We have a role available for a candidate looking to start a career as a quantity surveyor.

This role involves working with a high volume of numerical data, so somebody who enjoys working with numbers and spreadsheets would be ideal. The costing of projects will come through to this team and you will also support with tendering for contract and business agreements.

The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years work experience in an office based role where you have had dealing with managing costing, pricing, invoicing or other mathematical tasks.

This role has the potential to develop further and lead into a very successful career!

Duties for Trainee Quantity Surveyor include:   

• Preparing and submitting tenders  
• Liaising with supply chain teams and external suppliers
• Setting up sub-contractor charges
• Calculating project costs for materials, contractors and payments
• Formulating project documentation
