Trainee Warehouse Operative - Challenge-trg Recruitment : Job Details

We have a new and exciting opportunity for you to train as a Warehouse Operative in Derbyshire, DE24 8UX.

This training course is 2 weeks in duration. On completion you will be awarded a Level 2 Personal Development Employability Qualification, Level 1 Award in Health and Safety in the Workplace, Food Safety Level 2 and you will also be guaranteed an interview in Derby with Challenge-trg Recruitment.

Training times are as follows:

• Week 1 - Monday to Friday 9am until 4pm
• Week 2 - Monday to Friday 9am until 4pm

Dates of course:

• Week 1 - 16/09/2024 until 20/09/2024
• Week 2 - 23/09/2024 until 04/09/2024
• Week 1 - 07/10/2024 until 11/10/2024
• Week 2 - 14/10/2024 until 18/102024

• Learners to understand the benefits of good Health and safety.
• Learners to understand the processes for reporting Health and Safety issues.
• Learner to understand risk assessment and the part it plays in Safety.
• Learners to understand the effects of bad Health and Safety
• Learner to identify the different classes of Personal protective equipment and signage.
• Learners to understand and identify where to obtain information, both internal and external, on Health and Safety.

Highfield Level 2 Award in Food Safety for Catering:

• Importance of food handlers keeping themselves clean and hygienic
• Keeping work areas clean and hygienic
• Importance of keeping food products safe
• Principles of food safety
