Trainer and Technical Support - Shropshire - £25k - £35k

Trainer and Technical Support Package Overview:

• Salary £25,000 - £35,000 Per Annum
• Full-Time, Permanent - Hours of Work (8:00am - 5:00pm)
• Shropshire- Commutable from Telford, Bridgnorth, Church Stretton & Stourbridge
• Automatic Doors, Manufacturing, Stores
• Office Based
• An electrical qualification or experience within the industry is required

Company Overview - Trainer and Technical support

This role is based within a small but very successful company based in Shropshire.

The ideal candidate for this role would be someone looking to join a close nit friendly and supportive team who is happy to help out in all aspects of the business if needed.

The successful candidate will need to be confident, friendly and personable.

Trainer and Technical Support Role and Responsibilities:

• Telephone support to engineers on site who are struggling onsite with a repair or installation
• Assisting customers with technical support
• Give technical training
• Testing returns of possible faulty goods
• Stock control
• Sub assembly of components i.e. key-switches, transmitters and receivers
• Assembly / build-up of Sliding Auto Door Units
• Fill out good’s outward forms, recording serial numbers and weighing each parcel for shipment
• Quality inspection of incoming goods to be checked against delivery paperwork
• Clean up all work areas and maintain a tidy work environment
• Package goods and ensure boxes are labelled correctly for transport companies
• Check incoming goods against delivery notes
• Quality checks

Trainer and Technical support Skills and Experience:

• A full UK driving licence or equivalent
• A drive and enthusiasm to grab hold of opportunities
• Mechanical and electrical/electronic knowledge
• A positive attitude and the ability to self-motivate is a must
• Excellent attention to detail
• Polite & professional
• An electrical qualification or experience is needed; preferably, with a good knowledge of EN16005, and experience in the Auto Pedestrian Door Industry
