Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Analyst/Tester to lead the implementation of a MiFID II automated transaction reporting system in partnership with Bloomberg. This critical role will focus on reviewing and refining business requirements, driving testing strategies, and ensuring the smooth delivery of a compliant automated reporting solution.

Key Responsibilities:
Business Requirements Analysis:
- Review and analyse Business Requirements Documentation (BRD) to ensure alignment with MiFID II regulatory standards and business objectives.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and external partners (e.g., Bloomberg) to validate and enhance reporting workflows.
- Identify gaps or areas for improvement and provide actionable recommendation
Testing and Quality Assurance:
- Develop and lead testing strategies (functional, integration, end-to-end) for the MiFID automated transaction reporting system.
- Create and execute detailed test plans, scenarios, and scripts to ensure accurate and compliant reporting outputs.
- Lead defect tracking and resolution efforts, coordinating with internal and external teams.
System Implementation and Support:
- Support the configuration and deployment of Bloomberg’s MiFID reporting solution, ensuring full regulatory and business alignment.
- Oversee User Acceptance Testing (UAT), guiding teams through validation phases and issue resolution.
- Act as a senior escalation point for troubleshooting and implementation challenges.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with senior stakeholders (Treasury, Compliance, IT) to ensure project success.
- Communicate regularly with external partners, providing updates on project status, risks, and resolutions.
- Document findings and contribute to ongoing improvements in transaction reporting processes.
Required Skills & Experience:
- Extensive experience in financial transaction reporting, particularly within the MiFID II regulatory framework.
- Proven ability to critically review and enhance Business Requirements Documentation (BRD).
- Strong knowledge of treasury systems, financial instruments, and operations.
- Hands-on experience with Bloomberg or similar transaction reporting platforms.
- Expertise in designing and executing comprehensive testing and quality assurance strategies.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage complex challenges.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Deep understanding of international regulatory standards and treasury best practices.
