Role Overview: An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Transactional Team Leader to join a large, growing business based in Castle Donington. This hybrid role offers flexibility with two days in the office and a competitive salary of up to £35,000. As a Transactional Team Leader, you will lead a small, target-oriented team, overseeing daily activities to ensure all transactional processes and controls are delivered within agreed KPIs while fostering a positive team morale. This role involves problem-solving, reconciliations, process management, and team development to meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process Monitoring:Supervise ongoing processes, including invoicing, crediting, and cash allocation, ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• Control Checks:Oversee internal controls and monitoring checks to maintain compliance and quality standards.
• KPI Reporting:Generate and analyse unallocated cash KPI reports.
• Direct Debit Collections:Manage and oversee the collection of direct debits.
• Reconciliations:Handle complex account reconciliations and oversee bad debt write-offs.
• Audit Participation:Support internal audits by ensuring processes meet audit standards and providing required documentation.
• Team Support:Provide guidance and support to the Transactional team to achieve their goals and foster professional growth.
• Process Improvement:Identify and implement enhancements to processes for increased efficiency and effectiveness.
• Policy Implementation:Establish and enforce departmental policies, procedures, and quality/service standards.
• Team Coverage:Act as a backup for team members during sickness and holidays to maintain operational continuity.
• Month-End Deadlines:Ensure all month-end deadlines are met accurately and on time.
• Stakeholder Liaison:Collaborate with management and the wider team to address issues, share progress, and streamline processes.
• Ad-Hoc Duties:Perform additional tasks as requested by the line manager.
