Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis and Insights:
- Use advanced data analytics to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
- Develop dynamic dashboards and visualisations using tools like Power BI or Tableau to inform strategic decisions.
- Maintain high standards of data governance and ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks.
Transformation and Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for service delivery improvements through detailed process analysis.
- Support and implement business transformation projects that align with council priorities.
- Monitor the effectiveness of initiatives and recommend optimisations where necessary.
Project and Stakeholder Management:
- Manage specific transformation projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely delivery.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, align goals, and provide training.
- Build effective relationships to encourage collaboration and a culture of continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Qualifications:
- A degree in Data Analytics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications such as PRINCE2, Agile, or similar are advantageous.
Experience:
- Proven experience in data analysis, change management, or business transformation roles.
- Previous local government experience
Skills and Competencies:
- Expertise in tools such as Power BI, SQL, and advanced Excel.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex data clearly to diverse audiences.
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
