TRANSHIPMENT & GATEWAY SPECIALIST ROLE - Heathrow Personnel : Job Details

NEW POSITION - We are recruiting for a candidate who has a strong knowledge and background within airlines & export gateway to join our client, this is not an operational role however you must have experience of bookings with airlines, negotiating rates and process and strong customer service / communication skills.

An understanding of exports is required and dealing with RFQ's / Tariffs.

You will be working closely with the gateway & commercial team and dealing with specialist shipments including DG, Pharma, high value goods and perishables.

You will be monitoring branch pricing and dealing with on the spot quotes, you should have confident skills to negotiate rates with airlines and be able to build and maintain relationships with the airlines.

This is an exciting role and a little bit different than the usual and we expect a high level of applicants so do not miss out!

We are looking for someone from a background of airline operations (import / export) or Gateway.
