Transport Administrator   

Dartford

25k-27k – competitive salary dependent on experience & attitude

Mon-Fri 8am-5pm

Hybrid working available once competent in role

I am currently seeking a well organised, dynamic and committed candidate with a background in Transport Administration. 

This role is an important position within the team and requires a switched on, hard working applicantwith the ability to solve problems and work quickly and effectively. You will be an active, hands-on member of the team, dealing with various tasks within the transport department.

Duties for this role include:

• Processing orders generated from the TMS
• Liaising with other departments including drivers to ensure a smooth-running operation
• Speaking to customers directly whether that be in relation to deliveries or collections
• Updating various inhouse systems
• Regular contact with subcontractors
• Processing delivery paperwork
• Updating customers on ETA’s
• Assisting staff at Director level with any administration duties

The successful candidate will have/be:

• Recent experience working within a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work well alone as well as within a team
• Well organised and committed
• A proactive approach to work and have the ability to think on their feet in a fast paced environment
