Transport Coordinator - Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited : Job Details

Your new roleHays Logistics are working exclusively on the recruitment of a Transport Coordinator for a market-leading global organisation. As Transport Coordinator you will be working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment and responsible for the communication and administration of goods moved globally.Key activities include:

• Assist with obtaining quotes and raising customer and purchase orders.
• Coordinate third-party equipment shipments worldwide, ensuring timely delivery to meet auction and shipping deadlines.
• Complete customs declarations and any required regulatory paperwork.
• Source new suppliers globally, ensuring routes and schedules are efficient and cost-effective.
• Communicate and update other departments on the status of loads.

What you'll need to succeedI am looking for someone with exceptional planning and organisational skills. The ideal candidate will be highly organised, detail-oriented, and possess excellent forward planning skills with the ability to problem-solve in pressured situations. You will have experience in a similar role and excellent forward planning skills with the ability to problem-solve in pressure situations.

The successful candidate will have the ability to take instructions as well as work on your own initiative and follow Health & Safety legislation, as well as the ability to report and summarise.

What you'll get in returnYou will be offered a competitive salary between £25,000 - £27,000 per annum plus full company benefits package. You will be joining a global organisation that offers excellent training and development opportunities.
