Are you a skilled Transport Manager with CPC qualification looking for an exciting opportunity in the logistics industry? We are seeking a talented individual to join our dynamic team based in Manchester.
Your Responsibilities:
- Maintain a valid CPC accreditation on behalf of the Company
- Support the Transport Team in day-to-day operations to ensure smooth running
- Lead and manage audits for the Transport department.
- Oversee fleet of Transport vehicles: record keeping, servicing, and maintenance.
- Day to day management of all drivers including tachograph compliance, working time directives, recruitment and disciplinaries.
- Manage and monitor driver and vehicle checks to maintain operational integrity.
- Deliver corrective training to drivers as needed.
- Provide leadership support and motivate staff to achieve goals.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other operational heads for optimal results.
What we're looking for:
- Proven experience as a Transport Manager with CPC qualification - Essential.
- Preferably an Airfreight and Logistics background.
- Proven experience in managing 20+ vehicles.
- Knowledge of fleet management and vehicle tracking systems.
- Strong leadership and motivational skills.
- Excellent communication and relationship building abilities.
- Ability to create, review, and implement transport department procedures.
- Familiarity with compliance and quality assurance standards.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

- Salary: £37,500 per annum
- Hours: 08:00 - 18:00
- Monday to friday
- 1 in 4 Sunday's
