Transport Planner     

Dover 

30k-34k – competitive salary dependent on experience & attitude

Monday to Friday 7:30am - 6:00pm (1 in 3 Saturday mornings)

I am currently seeking a well organised, dynamic, Transport candidate with an interest in European and UK Planning. 

This role is a great opportunity for a slightly more junior candidate from the logistics industry who is looking to take their next step in their career. You will be an active, hands-on member of the team, dealing daily with the fleet of drivers while ensuring the planning is done in the most cost effective and quickest way.

Duties for this role include:

• UK and European planning for a fleet of HGV vehicles in the quickest and most cost effective manner
• Liaising with drivers daily regarding delivery updates
• Day to day communication with customers 
• Liaising with other departments where necessary

The successful candidate will have/be:

• Recent experience working within a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• The ability to work well alone as well as within a team
• Flexible working hours
• A proactive approach to work and have the ability to think on their feet
