Optimum Recruitment Group are proud to be working with a well established and successful business based in central York, who are looking to appoint a Transport Planning Analyst.
Reporting into the Senior Transport Planner, you will be responsible for assisting in compiling efficient and effective schedules and route planning, taking into account the customer first approach, whilst also being mindful of the risks and costs involved. You will be supporting and having direct communication with suppliers, internal and external customers to ensure products and services are delivered at the highest standard.
Your duties will include:
- Assisting in the planning of transport routes to optimise efficiency within budgeted costs.
- Ensuring that relevant systems are up to date with accurate details and information for other teams.
- Regularly monitoring and analysing customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.
- Ordering and confirming numbers before reaching the Operational Team.
- Assisting the Senior Planner to work seamlessly across the wider operational team, as well as the product team to resolve transportation issues for our tours.
Our client is ideally looking for an experienced transport or logistics administrator who has the appetite to add value to the function and wider organisation.
