Transport Supervisor- Freight/ Logistics - Heathrow Personnel : Job Details

My clients a large logistics company based within the Heathrow area, they are seeking experienced Transport Supervisor to join their busy team!

Duties would include:

• Supervising a small team of transport planners and operation staff
• Arranging collections and deliveries
• Tracking movements of goods
• Route planning
• To ensure compliance with transport regulations and standards
• Preparing reports and maintaining transport records
• Liaising with transport and operations
• Resolving any issues from client
• Training new members of staff
• General admin

Skills required:

• Previous freight/ logistics/ transport experience
• 5 year checkable history/ clean DBS check
• Good customer service skills
• Flexible with regards to shift work
• PC literate
• Full UK driving license

Working hours:

• Monday- Friday 0800-1800
