Vacancy: Transport Supervisor

Location: Swindon, Wiltshire

Salary: £32,868-£35,000 OTE per annum

JHP Recruitment are seeking an experienced and responsible Transport Supervisor to join our Swindon-based distribution client on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful applicant will work closely with the distribution centre management team to ensure the completion of next-day deliveries throughout the Wiltshire area.

Main Accountabilities:

• Induction and training of new staff
• Ensuring provision of relief cover over holidays and sickness of the driving team
• Supporting the site management team to ensure the fleet is compliant with the O Licence obligations
• Various administrative tasks to ensure daily deliveries are completed within company guidelines

Applicant Requirements:

• Previous experience in a supervisory role, managing a team of HGV Drivers
• A full HGV Category C driving licence
• CPC Card
• Digi Tacho Card
• Forklift licence (advantageous but not essential)

Working hours:

• Start times range between 04:00-07:00
• Monday to Friday
