Job Title: Transport Support Clerk (PERMANENT)Location: Wednesbury (WS10)Salary: £30,000 - £31,000 per year (PERMANENT FROM DAY 1)Hours of Work: 08:00 - 17:30  (1 hour unpaid lunch)Days of Work: Monday - FridayJob Description:We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Transport Support Clerk to join our dynamic team in Wednesbury. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our clients transport department. If you have a keen eye for detail and a passion for logistics, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:·        Transport Office Experience: Must have prior experience in a transport office, including knowledge of drivers' hours and tachographs.·        Route Planning: Efficiently plan routes to optimize fleet operations.·        Fleet Maintenance: Oversee and manage fleet maintenance schedules.·        MS Excel Proficiency: Utility MS Excel for various transport-related tasks..        Customs - Prepare customs documentation and declarations·        Stock Re-ordering: Monitor and reorder stock as needed to maintain optimal inventory levels.Requirements:·        Proven experience in a transport office setting.·        Familiarity with drivers' hours and tachograph regulations.·        Strong proficiency in MS Excel.·        Ability to plan routes and manage fleet maintenance.·        Excellent organisational and communication skills.WHY RAPIER?
