Treasury & Compliance Executive - CMA Recruitment Group : Job Details

CMA is partnering with a local Financial Services business to recruit an Assistant Accountant on a permanent basis due to the continued growth of the business. Reporting to the Finance Director the role will provide technical accounting support to the finance team. The business is keen to develop within and there will be ample opportunity for progression and development. What will the Assistant Accountant role involve?

• Assist with drafting of annual statutory accounts 
• Preparation of corporate tax returns 
• VAT returns
• Treasury duties
• Management of funding entities
• Internal audit
• Adhoc project work as required by the wider business/team

Suitable Candidate for the Assistant Accountant vacancy:

• Actively studying towards ACA or ACCA is essential 
• Experience of working within an accountancy practice is essential to this role 
• Working knowledge of Sage 50 is advantageous
• Strong communication skills with a desire to add to the continued development of the team
