Treasury Dealing Officer - SNG Formerly Sovereign Housing Association : Job Details

Sovereign Network Group is a charitable organisation dedicated to making a positive impact. We're recruiting for a diligent and motivated Treasury Dealing Officer to join our fantastic treasury team. You can be based either from our Basingstoke or Wembley office, with the flexibility to combine home and office working 2 days per week.

About the RoleAs Treasury Dealing Officer, you will play a vital role in managing the group's cash liquidity and short-term forecasting to ensure smooth financial operations. Reporting to the Head of Core Treasury, you'll oversee treasury transactions, maintain accurate records of loan agreements, and ensure compliance with financial policies and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor daily cash positions, making informed investment decisions.
• Facilitate short-term debt portfolio management, including loan drawdowns, rollovers, and repayments.
• Maintain and update banking records, mandates, and group bank accounts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align cashflow projections with payment schedules.
• Act as the main bank contact for the group's day-to-day transactions and queries.

What we're looking for

• You'll have previous experience working within a similar role within Treasury.

• Highly numerate with strong analytical skills, as well as excellent attention to detail
• Proficient in Excel and other computer applications.
• Experience with Treasury Management Systems and/or banking platforms is desirable but not essential.
• The ability to build strong relationships with internal stakeholders
