Credit Controller

We are looking for a Credit Controller with a strong background in finance and customer service. The ideal candidate will be fluent in Spanish, with French being a preferable additional language. This role involves managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payment collection, and maintaining accurate financial records. Day to Day of the role:

• Cash posting and allocation of customer payments.
• Running and collating statements, invoices, and proof of deliveries.
• Proactively chasing customers via email and phone in a professional manner.
• Reviewing and updating customer master data.
• Using credit agency reports to set appropriate credit limits.
• Managing Direct Debit collections and order releases.
• Filing departmental paperwork accurately and promptly.
• Resolving queries and escalating issues as needed.
• Handling sensitive financial information with confidentiality.
• Managing EMEA Intercompany accounts and processing e-Invoicing.
• Performing credit checks and risk assessments on potential clients.
• Participating in initiatives to improve Accounts Payable team efficiency.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Credit Control experience.
• Fluent in Spanish; French is also preferable.
• Proficient with SAP (AP), MS Office, SAP Concur, and strong Excel skills.
• Resilient and able to work to tight deadlines.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and numerical skills.
• Organised, flexible, proactive, and results oriented.
