Your Role & ImpactAs a Trust Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of trust and estate taxation, providing expert advice on Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and personal tax matters. You’ll oversee trust tax compliance, ensure accurate HMRC reporting, and support clients with strategic tax planning. With a strong focus on service excellence, you will also contribute to expanding the client base while mentoring and developing junior team members.Key Responsibilities
- Managing the preparation and submission of trust and estate tax returns
- Advising clients and trustees on tax planning strategies
- Overseeing Inheritance Tax reporting, including ten-year and exit charges
- Ensuring compliance with FATCA/CRS and HMRC Trust Registration Service
- Working closely with clients, trustees, and legal professionals to deliver tailored tax solutions
- Assisting in the development of a ‘family office’ service, handling administrative and reporting tasks
What You Bring
- ATT/CTA qualification (STEP desirable)
- Expertise in trust accounting and taxation
- Strong knowledge of UK trust law and tax legislation
- Excellent communication and client management skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ambition to grow the team and client base
