Your Role and Contribution:As a Trust Manager, you will play a pivotal role in trust and estate taxation, offering expert advice on Inheritance Tax, Capital Gains Tax, and personal tax concerns. You will be responsible for ensuring trust tax compliance, accurate HMRC reporting, and providing strategic tax guidance to clients. Focused on delivering exceptional service, you will also help to expand the client portfolio while mentoring and supporting junior team members.Main Duties Include:
- Overseeing the preparation and submission of trust and estate tax returns
- Providing advice to clients and trustees on effective tax planning methods
- Managing Inheritance Tax reporting, including ten-year and exit charges
- Ensuring adherence to FATCA/CRS regulations and HMRC Trust Registration Service requirements
- Collaborating with clients, trustees, and legal experts to deliver tailored tax solutions
- Assisting in the development of a 'family office' service, managing administrative and reporting responsibilities
What You Bring to the Role
- ATT/CTA qualification (STEP certification preferred)
- Proven expertise in trust accounting and taxation
- Strong understanding of UK trust law and tax regulations
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage client relationships effectively
