The successful candidate will play a key role in the day-to-day administration of estates, working on a variety of matters, including those involving business and agricultural assets, taxable and non-taxable estates, and trusts.With a longstanding Tier 1 ranking in the Chambers and Partners High Net Worth Guide, the team is recognised for its technical expertise and client-focused approach.About the RoleDue to increased demand, the Trusts, Estates & Tax team is expanding and requires an additional Probate Executive to assist with estate administration.Key responsibilities include:

• Handling the administration of estates, including those with complex assets, taxable elements, and related trusts
• Assisting with inheritance tax planning and tax compliance matters
• Managing trust administration, ensuring compliance and supporting trustees
• Providing empathetic and professional client support throughout the probate process
• Working closely with qualified solicitors and other team members to deliver high-quality legal services

The scope of responsibilities will be adjusted based on the candidate's experience and expertise.The Ideal CandidateThe successful candidate will have:

• Previous experience in a fee-earning role within a private client team
• A STEP qualification (preferred but not required)
• The ability to work independently, manage deadlines, and prioritize tasks effectively
• Strong client-care skills, with a professional yet empathetic approach
• A collaborative mindset, contributing to a supportive team environment
