About The Role:Days of Working: Monday to Friday

Shift Pattern: 09:00am to 17:30pm

About the RoleTo ensure that the company TUPE process is adhered to and in line with employment law, and to provide advice and guidance and risks are managed and mitigated where necessary. Main Duties & Responsibilities of the Role:

  • Provide advice and Guidance in line with current TUPE legislation to the Operations teams on any TUPE queries
  • Produce ELI for TUPE Loss and TUPE Tenders in line with TUPE legislation
  • To Support operations teams with organising and inviting employees to consultations
  • Assist Senior TUPE Advisors with administrative tasks on Medium/Large Gain and Loss processes
  • To action mail merges where applicable
  • To review in house data from consultations, including Right to Work checks
  • Support wider HR teams in managing new starters through the TUPE process
  • Escalate any risks to TUPE Team Lead
  • Avoid conflict of interests between personal interests and the interests of the UK & Ireland group.
  • Exercise independent judgment, reasonable care, skill and diligence when carrying out their duties.
  • Act in good faith and promote the long-term success of each company within the UK & Ireland group for the benefit of all members and wider stakeholders.
  • Adhere to and promote the UK & Ireland group's policies on equality & diversity, information security, health and safety and data protection in the performance of their duties and the management of the MyER Function in the People Team reporting into them.
  • Support and promote the UK & Ireland group's sustainability plans and policies, including the Carbon Management Plan, and carry out duties in a resource effective way, recognizing the shared responsibility of minimizing negative environmental impacts wherever possible.

Health & Safety accountabilities:

  • Communicate regularly with colleagues through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure that there is a free flow of ideas and that morale remains high.
  • Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues.
  • Ensure that personal H&S competence and skill level is maintained i.e. attended Managing Safety programme and other Company safety events.
  • Ensure that work activities are properly managed and supervised.

Critical Performance Measures (CPMs) / Objectives:

  • As Agreed with your line manager on an annual basis

Working Arrangements:

  • Full time, minimum 3 days office based
  • If home working, you must have a suitable working space
  • There may be occasional travel

Experience -previous experience -desirable/essential for technical competence of the role:

  • Previous experience in working in a HR shared service
  • Working knowledge of TUPE legislation and managing TUPE from a HR perspective is desirable
  • Excellent organisational, administrational and IT skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of data management including previous use of Excel.
