Description

• Ensure tax compliance and reporting, including the preparation of UK tax returns.
• Manage tax planning and strategy development.
• Prepare and review tax forecasts and budgets.
• Ensure accurate tax accounting and reporting in line with UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Coordinate with external tax advisers and auditors.
• Identify and mitigate tax risks and opportunities.
• Provide tax support on business transactions and projects.
• Ensure continuous improvement of tax processes and controls.

Profile

A successful 'UK Tax Specialist' should have:

• A degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Professional tax qualification (CTA, ATT or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of UK tax legislation and GAAP/IFRS.
• Experience in tax compliance and planning.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
