Our client is a national firm of Chartered Accountants and Business Advisors, which following recent restructure and investment have considerable expansion plans within their Valuations Services team nationally. They are looking for experienced qualified accountants to join their team in the Midlands or indeed from another office location, at an Associate Director, Director or Partner level, to lead and manage a broad range of Valuations activity across a variety of different clients.

The Valuations team carries out a full range of valuation services to a wide range of clients. In particular, you will be involved in accounting valuations, more specifically purchase price allocations, share based payments and impairment reviews.

Job PurposeTo carry out and take responsibility for valuation assignments and, in doing so, to ensure that the client's expectations are exceeded through the provision of a quality product within an agreed budget and timescale.To be involved in all aspects of the valuations practice, including business development activities.You will be a part of a dynamic senior team with ambitious objectives and your role will be to provide additional expertise to widen the valuations service offering.You will be able to lead on multiple engagements simultaneously, you will have a passion for the development of team members and you will be a go to person for the team for technical knowledge and practical solutions to valuation issues that arise during project work.You will probably either be an Associate Director in a valuations team looking to move up a level or an existing Director or Partner that is looking for a positive change of direction in your career.Role & Responsibilities• Valuations for accounting, tax, restructuring, commercial and dispute purposes.• Valuations of companies or stakes in companies as part of transactional assignments• Valuation of companies in the context of the raising of new capital• Valuation of companies in the context of employee share schemes

• Ability to develop strong client relationships.• Will proactively contribute to the development of new initiatives and methodologies.• Will have experience of developing and training junior members of a team, including conducting appraisals and performance reviews.• Will contribute to an environment that supports and encourages innovation and flexibility.

The successful candidates will have an exceptional academic background, will be a qualified accountant and will have a proven track record of leading teams in a Valuations Services environment. Coming into a smaller organisation individuals will show an entrepreneurial flare with the ability and desire to be active in the market and be proven work winners, particularly the more senior you are. You will get involved in sales and marketing developing internal and external networks with clients, and external intermediaries.
